The Ukrainian chapter of Tech Emerging Europe Advocates will be launched at 5pm on March 3, in B8 of UNIT.City.

Tech Emerging Europe Advocates (TEEA), led by Emerging Europe, is part of Global Tech Advocates (GTA), the world’s only global tech community. Its members include 20,000 tech leaders from Silicon Valley to Europe, Asia and Australia/New Zealand.

Tech Emerging Europe Advocates spans 25 countries with a combined population of over 200 million people and is GTA’s largest network. Fully focused on collaboration, it unites the entire region and places it in front of a global audience.

The network is a home for entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, hubs, accelerators, corporates, start-ups, scale-ups, policy makers, universities, experts and media from —or with a stake in— emerging Europe.
Its mission is to be the main driving and uniting force behind the region’s tech ecosystem. It sees emerging Europe as the world’s leading and most sustainable technology hub.

At the event on March 3, policymakers, business leaders, fund managers, and scientists will discuss the perspectives of this new global centre of power in the emerging Europe region: the challenges and opportunities, geopolitical issues – both global and local, and Ukraine’s role in the wider tech ecosystem.
GTA leaders from the United States, Canada, Germany, the UK, and emerging Europe will share their experiences of international collaboration, international expansion and how to leverage that when coming up with a new solution and make a start-up or tech business thrive.

The TEEA ambassador for Ukraine will be announced and the plans of the first Ukraine chapter will be discussed.
