Global Tech Advocates is hosting its first ever annual summit. The GTA Festival is taking place in Shanghai this October and will bring together the full Global Tech Advocates community – tech leaders from fourteen tech hubs around the world.
Starting in Shanghai and taking in Shenzhen and Beijing, this is an opportunity to share ideas, network and collaborate with diverse tech ecosystems and immerse yourself in the world’s fastest growing tech nation – China.
Tech London Advocates and Tech Shanghai Advocates will co-host a full-day GTA Summit on Monday 14th October in Shanghai. This will bring together GTA leaders and entrepreneurs from Singapore, the Bay Area, London, the Nordics, Madrid and, of course, Shanghai, to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the global tech community.
There will then be a full agenda of tours, events and networking in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing for Advocates who can stay in China for the full week.
To understand an approximate set of costs for this event, an economy ticket to Shanghai from London is around £900 for Economy (and £2,000 for Business), but we are negotiating a potential 10% discount through C-Trip (the acquirer of SkySkanner) to reduce the fare. For hotel accommodations, we have secured a deal with the Hyatt on the Bund for around £200 per night for a three night stay including breakfast. Visa costs are around £150 for UK nationals.
Speakers and schedules will be announced soon. This is a landmark moment for Global Tech Advocates, the world’s most influential tech network, and an event you don’t want to miss.
