Justin Onwenu is an attorney and the City of Detroit’s first Director of Entrepreneurship & Economic Opportunity. He leads initiatives connecting local founders with capital, procurement opportunities, and cutting-edge sectors to better position Detroit as a hub for innovation and inclusive growth. He is a graduate of Rice University and Columbia Law School and is the son of an entrepreneur and nurse.
