4th UK Tech Mission to the Greater Bay Area (GBA), China are now open! This isn’t just a trip; it’s a strategic tech trade corridor built to support tech companies scaling for export growth.

The Itinerary:

• Guangdong: Exploring the manufacturing tech hubs and celebrating our UK city partnerships with Guangzhou.
• Shenzhen: Exploring the “Silicon Valley of China.”
• Hong Kong: Engaging with South East Asia’s leading financial and innovation hub.
• Programme Details: Includes preparation webinars in the UK followed by in-country site visits, receptions, and business matching with tech companies, investors, and academic partners.
• Milestones: This mission coincides with the 25th and 20th-year anniversaries of Bristol & Birmingham’s Sister City partnerships with Guangzhou.
• Partners: We are delighted University of the West of England (UWE) are key partners, alongside collaborators including the UK Department for Business and Trade and British Chambers of Commerce.
• Leadership: Organised by Richard Lowe (UK) and Angela Tang (China) at Hewlett Rand, founding member of Tech West England Advocates, bringing over a decade of UK-China trade experience.
